There is a petition with regards to the new training wage in BC.
It reads:
We demand that Gordon Campbell and all MLA’s who voted in favour of the “First Job” Wage be paid $6 per hour for their first 500 hours in office since the 2001 election.
If you oppose the training wage, or even you think it would be fun for these new politicians (almost none of whom have held their posts previously, which would qualify them for the training wage) to be paid $6/hour for their first 500 hours, please sign it. Please note that you must be a resident of BC to be eligeable to sign this petition.
