Pet Peeve

I have small pet peeve to confess to:
When speaking of network drives, the non-network savvy will often refer to the drive by the letter that they have mapped the network drive to, or more often, had been mapped to for them.
So user A will say ‘it’s in J:/bugaboo/comps. And then I have to say ‘what’s J:?’, because who knows? However, if user A would say ‘It’s in //Spot/jobs/bugaboo/comps’ Or even, ‘It’s in //jobs/bugaboo/comps’, that would be much more helpful to me, assuming the share name of the folder on Spot has been shared as ‘jobs’.
But referencing networked drives/shared folders by the drive letter you happen to have assigned to them just drives me nuts.

So there.
