So I‘ve a client whom I invoiced in early February. I still hadn’t received payment, so I called on Monday to ask where my money was. I felt like a repo man while calling, even though I was nice and polite, and didn’t break anything – I just don’t like asking for people for money, and even if they are 40-odd days late, I still feel like I’m hounding them.
So today, I get the message that apparently my cheque is in Virgina. How and why, I don’t know, but that cheque has been stopped, and another one is now being cut for me. So maybe I’ll see this one before too long….
