A curious thing

I’ve been told, and indeed, have even been shown the technical reasons why, calling something through <CFModule> is slower than calling through <CFInclude>. I however, have been testing this in The Pencilcase/Digitools, and so far, I’ve seen a performance improvement by doing this. Which I don’t get. And it certainly makes the code more reasonable, although as the entire Pencilcase/Digitools is called as a custom tag, it means I have to include the required attributes for the system with each internal module call. But oh well. I’ll keep playing and see at what point this becomes a bad idea. At the very least, it’s made the code in each circuit just slightly more elegant, I feel.
