Ethan, Ethan, Ethan…

Ethan Hawke just wants the world to know how deep he is. He spends all his public time looking either brooding, or tastefully disinterested, or happy despite himself. His world is far too complex for us to understand, you see.
His acting roles are often heady and thoughtful characters, sometimes with a dark secret, sometimes with big dreams, sometimes intellectual, sometimes a mix of all the above. He’s written one book, with another on the way, and he’s now made a feature film, called ‘Chelsea Walls’.

The review of it doesn’t surprise me in the least, given the above. If it comes to Vancouver, it might make a worthy Sunday movie, though, especially if one sees it while (ahem) under the influence.
