Bush v. The World

Does anyone else think it is wrong for Bush to have made any peace in Palestine contingent on the removal of Yasser Arafat, amoung others? That no censure of Israel was recorded? That no mention of the new occupation zones was made?

I had a plan to go out and search out some intelligent writing on the subject, but once again, Emira‘s beaten me to the punch. So go here for a jump-off point.

  1. Missing though is intelligent commentary from Isreali sources, and there are intelligent Isrealis. Check out: Gush Shalom Which is Hebrew for “Peace Now”. It is the Isreali Peace organization that Uri Avnery, former member of Knesset (Isreali Parliament), is involved in. They can usually be relied on for insightful articles.
