Note to self:

You may think you like ham sandwich. You may even enjoy the ham sandwich while eating it. However, once said sandwich has begun digesting, you will begin feeling ill. This may or may not end up with you sitting with your head in a toilet.
Additionally, you should try to remember this the next time you go to have a ham sandwich – that last time was not a freak incident with bad ham; your body just doesn’t like ham.

  1. In most of Asia, rice is the staple food. Taiwan, however, seems to prefer Pork. Avoiding it can be tough.

  2. Oddly, Pork, I’m fine with. Bacon too (I think – it’s probably been about 10 months since I had bacon). Proscuttio (sp?) also. Just that ultra-pink sandwich ham. Perhaps it’s actually ham & something that has been commmon across the sandwiches – hollandaise sauce, perhaps?
    je ne sais pas.

  4. perhaps it’s nitrates? that where the ultra-pink colour comes from – tho there’s quite a bit in your average piece of bacon….
