Today is full of good things!
- Leah gave me an XBox last night for Christmas! I played the 2 games it comes with, and while they’re not great, they’re a good enough start. And of course, I can rent more at Roger’s until I buy some.
- Trent Lott resigned his post.
- Jean Chrétien is introducing legislation to end corporate and union donations to federal political parties.
- The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that the Surrey school board cannot ban books because of religious beliefs. If they want to ban books, they must find a secular reason to do so. As the books in question were about same-sex parents, I’m not sure how they’ll be able to come up with a reason.
