When in a meeting with someone, I need to remember:
- I should say ‘we’ when talking about work experience in reference to Pencilneck Software, rather than ‘I’. We are a company, I am a partner in it.
- I should not continually nod & mouth the words ‘yes’ when someone is talking to me. It’s highly probable that they know that I’m listening to them. Being more still is likely less distracting to others
- When I go to speak, I should count to three and think ‘speak slowly!’ as a reminder to do just that.
- I don’t have to agree with everything they say.
