This Honda Ad seems destined to become legend in advertising. Replicating The Amazing Machine (Or, if my Apple ][ memory serves me right, Rocky’s Robots). Already it’s making it’s way around the blogging world. I saw it first on a link from Kottke, E has a link too. More importantly, E also links to this article at the Telegraph, and this one at the Daily Record. Interestingly, these are both British tabs. Is this ad for the European market then?
Based on the steering wheel positioning, I’m thinking it’s a UK thing. Very slick though, I can believe it took 606 takes. Nuts. Also interesting in that it take that departure from showing driving in a car commercial, which is so rare.

It’s a thing of beauty. Thanks Steve – I’ve jumped on the bandwagon and now it’s linked from my site, too. (Did you get a trackback? I’m totally confused about how those work.)

Couple of things. The Telegraph’s a broadshet, not a tabloid. Secondly, I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere- possibly in the Telegraph’s article itself- that this is destined to be a worldwide campaign.
