Fashion Question

So I’ve been told (and witnessed with my own eyes) that wearing two shades of black at once looks pretty bad. A fashion faux-pas, if you will. My question is: does the same hold true for grey? Because If so, I’m an affront to fashion everywhere today, as I’m wearing not two, but three different shades of grey. Eep!

  1. no sweetie, shades of grey are okay as long as they have similar undertones and enough contrast. which, being that you are colour-blind, is next to impossible for you to tell. I guess you’ll have to ask me to check your ensemble before you leave in the mornings.

  3. That’s one of the great things about grey, it goes with everything, even itself.

And I don’t completely buy the black thing. I hate to say it but it’s a bit more complicated. I think the casual blacks are safer: reddish-black Tshirt with greenish-black jeans is not a big deal, but the same 2 shades in suit jacket and dress pants would be a definite fashion faux pas.
