Today is my birthday. I’m 26 years old today, a fine age if I do say so myself. Many thanks to all who’ve sent me birthday wishes, it’s truly appreciated. If I don’t respond to you today, particularly if it’s work-related, it’s because today is all about me. I don’t care that your server is crashing today. I don’t care that your website doesn’t work in the Estonian version of Netscape 3. Today is the one day of the year that I feel I have the right to be a selfish prick, where I get to do only things that I want to do. And, because of who I am, this rarely involved other people. So, after an inescapable meeting this morning (which did go quite well), I’m now home, where I plan to spend the rest of the day lounging. Perhaps I’ll watch a movie, or play some XBox, or snooze, but whatever I choose to do, I plan to enjoy myself. Later, I might go out to a club or somesuch, but given the weather, I suspect I’ll choose the warm and dry option.
I hope everyone has a great afternoon, and I’ll respond to whatever your question was on the weekend.
