One of the things that makes me really happy at work is when I sit down at my desk, and see the array of tech layed out before me.
From left to right, on my desk sits a sleek flat-panel monitor, my laptop & my iBook. The flat-panel and my laptop are both an odd silvery color, and my desktop stretches across the two to give me a nice viewable area on my work (although the FP is at a different resolution from my laptop).
The iBook is primarily for music, but on days like today, when I’m doing serious browser-compatibility testing (ok, more like debugging. Damn IE!), and it has been pulled across my desktop to form a virtually continuous screen, it just makes me happy. I’ve wanted a set up like this from the first day I had a job in the biz, and now I have it. Of course, now that I have it, I want a bigger, better everything, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that I’m really happy with my set up here.
