Engrish is funny!
My favourite is the t-shirt that says
Looking for a place to happen
I AM 52% GEEK.
Nerd, Freak, Geek, Dweeb. Sound familiar? That’s okay, cause I will be the richest person at my 15th year high-school reunion. If a “con” isn’t happening that weekend.

I’m not, however, Punk:
I AM 19% PUNK.
It’s not a fashion craze, or even a cool thing to do. I should just swallow it, get Lost, and take my friends with me.

Unfortunately, I’m somewhat goth:
I AM 47% GOTH.
Oh My Goth! You Goth, Girl. There is a good chance I am bi. Freakiness pumps through my viens, but I can still laugh at myself.

And this is the story I wrote there.
Forget Magazine is quickly becoming one of my favourite ‘zines. Quirky, well-researched and irregular. Visit them!

East/West has an interesting counter-article to USA Today’s article about the role of weblogs in the wake of 11.9.2001.
So I did this Meyers-Briggs test today. As usual, I score as INTP. I wonder about these people who score differently depending on when they take the test, as every time I’ve taken this test, some 2 dozen or so times by now, I score as INTP. When I was younger I scored like that, and probably, when I’m older I’ll score like that also. This page describes INTPs.
Today, I remembered Unamerican.com.
While I find some (many?) of the rants somewhat infantile, I love the urgency there, and really, can’t get enough of the stickers and shirts 🙂 Mmm…little consumerist me! Oh the irony of loving to consume anti-consumerist products!
Why is it that recherche words are often simply anglicized french words (recursion rules!)? Like debouch, which was dictionary.com’s word of the day sometime last week – another word I couldn’t think of how to use in a sentence without sounding like an asshole.
