So yesterday I was trying to set up this project wherein a client could print out a customised menu for visitors to their restaurant. But it had to match their printed menus as closely as possible. So I thought, well, if I simply install the right fonts on their machine, and play with the CSS enough, I should be able to match that Quark layout pretty exactly…heh. I was dreaming.
BUT! on that same subject, A List Apart has something to say about Typography on the web. I haven’t yet read the articles, but I’m sure they’ll be quality like all the other ALA issues… so go read and learn why type matters!
